Just an honor to be mentioned alongside such luminaries as Stevie Ray and Mark Madden. For those looking for them, the JLDetroit vs. Despero arc is Justice League of America issues #251 to 254. The Giffen/DeMatteiss sequel is Justice League America issues #38 to 40.
The WrestleMania that JR and Heyman called together was WrestleMania 17 (minus the Gimmick Battle Royale, where Bobby Heenan and Gene Okerlund stepped in). Their run went from this show to Survivor Series 2001 (minus Invasion, which was JR and Cole).
If you’re going to rep Pimp C and UGK, you ought to at least get Texas Barbeque right.
Maybe in some uncultured states, “barbeque” means “grilling out”, but not in Texas. In Texas, it means three things: smoked sausage (from our German immigrants), ribs (from our southern heritage), and brisket (from out western side). All three are cooked low and slow (eight hours or more). While it may not be traditional southern barbeque (which you can certainly find this in East Texas), it’s not the gross misunderstanding of “cooking outside”.
