This week, we welcome the writer of the new Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series, Kyle Higgins, to the show! We discuss his history with the rangers, the audience he’s trying to reach, zords, why Rita was great, Nightrunner, and so much more! Plus, we take some of your listener questions!
The Rundown:
- Follow Kyle on Twitter!
- The actress who played Rita in the MMPR movie was an Australian actress named Julia Cortez. She didn’t do the voice on the show.

- M.A.N.T.I.S.
- Here’s Kiefer Sutherland tackling a Christmas tree.

I really feel like when Matt Murdock reveals his identity in Waid and Samnee’s DD is quite good. Although it ultimately falls victim to being rebooted, it lasts until the end of that series.
It’s funny that you guys talk about rangers not fighting monsters and just stopping robberies and stuff and then we get an episode with a ranger who doesn’t want to fight monsters and just stop robberies.
