This week, Chris and special guest host Elle Collins talk to artist Lauren Moran about her work designing t-shirts for WWE (and other Ajax-favorite franchises), as well as her controversial sixth-grade opinion that everyone who watched WCW was “a garbage person.” Don’t worry, we don’t let that one go unchallenged. Plus, Batman Returns is attacked and defended and the new Betty & Veronica #1 gets a very mystified review.

I liked a couple of things in ‘Batman Returns’ a lot. First the whole piss take of the Joseph Campbell thing with the Penguin’s origin, he’s Moses, he’s Oedipus, cast away in a box on water and raised by a substitute family. Second, that evil Max Shreck is the best parent in the film. Batman, Penguin and Catwoman’s parents all messed them up. Max is a good dad and a bad man. In ‘family values’ USA this seemed a joke and a point worth making.
