Danger Club and Supergirl: Cosmic Adventures in the 8th Grade writer Landry Walker is our guest this week! We talk with him about his days at Disney Adventures magazine, the shockingly dark secret of how his Supergirl book would have ended, how the hyper-violent Danger Club came into existence and much more! Plus, Chris and Matt answer a particularly…kinky listener question.

I won’t pretend to be the first one to say this, it may actually have been Chris, but it seems very likely that there’s a drawer somewhere filled with Chris Claremont’s unpublished Storm/Kitty slash fiction that I only pray doesn’t get destroyed in the disposition of his estate. There’s just no way he didn’t write it. The only question is whether it’s lost forever, still under lock and key somewhere, or published under a pseudonym on fanfiction.net.
The first several minutes of this show is some of the funniest damn things ever. I did the same thing after watching The Dark Knight Rises. I wish there was a T-Bane microphone. I’d buy 10.
Nice recommendation on the “Let’s Talk About Love” book from 33 1/3, Chris. Definitely my favorite of the series so far. I think number 2 for me is the one on Television’s “Marquee Moon,” which is mostly a history of the Lower East Side/CBGB’s scene and Television’s place in it rather than just an album review. Finally going to hit up the “Aeroplane Over the Sea” one and the “If You’re Feeling Sinister” one some time this month.
Feel free to reread this in Bane’s voice.
