    I’m hip-deep in a discussion over on wikipedia about whether this list qualifies as a reliable source. Essentially, because this page isn’t self explanatory it’s not up to their standards. Therefore, I’m asking you to put an explanation at the top of the page of what the ESE list is and how it came to be. I know, but I listen to the show every week – even the wrestling parts. If you all do this we might be able to cite this as an example of how some people regard Identity Crisis as the worst comic book of all time – until something is added to list that’s (shudder) even worse.   34. How has nobody thrown on Akira yet? Talk about groundbreaking influential series that tell one long-form story. Lots of good well-known manga to get on there – Lone Wolf, Drifting Classroom, the first series of Battle Angel Alita, Nausicaa, Uzumaki. Plenty of other great X-Men stories too – Inferno, Mutant Massacre, etc.

    Secret Wars II would definitely be a good for the bottom 10.

  39. My favorite thing to do with ESE is to find a story I love near the bottom of the list, go seek out the episode number and then listen while gnashing my teeth as Matt and Chris discuss why they don’t love it as much as I do. Why do I hate myself so much?
