  1. I also hate “Proud to be an American,” not even because of its cheesiness but its terrible grammar.

“And I’m proud to be an American, where at least I know I’m free?” That is all kinds of wrong, unless you could somehow describe an American as a place.

  2. The Queen intro got me thinking that you guys should try to get Edgar Wright to appear on the show. He might be doing some press rounds for Scott Pilgrim once the dvd gets released, and a love of the Flash Gordon film could easily spiral out into a crazy conversation.

Also: congratulations for the year’s worth of work!

  3. Oh, and while Adam Savage isn’t actually related to Randy Savage, do you know who IS the Macho Man’s brother?

    The Genius.

No, really. That one is a shoot.

  4. man BringTheNoise, to think there was a time when a wrestler named Leaping Lanny Poffo could come out to the ring with diss-poetry written on frisbees had a job with Vince McMahon…the mind boggles.

  5. I watched Resolute as it came out (daily?) in ten-minute segments, so I forgot that it was supposed to be a single episode/tv movie.

Anyway, I loved the Hell out of Resolute and I’m glad Chris recommended that everyone see it because they should. No. They MUST watch it.

  6. Chris I have a feeling you will really like the episode of Avatar titled “The Blind Bandit”, if you haven’t gotten there already.

THE BOULDER will blow your mind.

  7. Glad to hear you’re enjoying Avatar, Chris. Definitely keep watching – the general consensus amongst fans of the show is that while the first season is good, the second and third seasons are AMAZING.

  8. It’s nice to have BUTAMH back. I was in tears during the whole Ku Klux Klippy bit.

And in regards to the whole Tobin conversation (which I enjoyed), the Punisher actually goes grocery shopping in The Punisher #63, and predictably winds up murdering a whole bunch of people, while trying to buy peanut butter.

  9. Still haven’t finished listening to the episode yet, but I KNEW Sims would love Toph. She only gets more awesome as the show goes on, if you can believe it.
Given her wrestling-themed intro, that reminds me: Sims, is it wrong that I really wish you would write a comic teaming up Socko and Head?

  10. I didn’t notice this before, but the picture is AWESOME. I love me some Max Huffman.
