Black Widow’s age in Captain America 2 bugged me a lot. It was so clearly them making a mistake by wanting her to be ex-KGB without being that old. It doesn’t matter who you are, you don’t become an elite spy and then decide to defect to another country by 6.
The annoying thing about it is it is such a big mistake in an otherwise pretty great movie.
In the Avengers, after Black Widow gets a six year old girl to lead Bruce Banner to her, he asks, “Your actress buddy, is she a spy too? Do they start that young?” To which she says, “I did.” So, there’s that.
I don’t know if that makes the whole thing less or more problematic.
Best comics bargain I ever got? Mike Allred & Peter Milligan’s X-Statix Omnibus. $125.00 cover price, and I got it for $27.00. An amazing comic collection at a ludicrously good deal.
Also: with the Black Widow thing, if she started at age 6, that means she was KGB for about a year. As a child. Because the KGB collapsed with the rest of the USSR in 1991.
Was the sound setting on yalls time portal set on “Eternal Darkness” by any chance?
Also, you can’t spell “Portland” without “portal”.
