We’re delighted to welcome none other than Gerry Conway, co-creator of The Punisher, Firestorm, Jason Todd and many others; writer of Spider-Man, Justice League, numerous TV episodes, Fantastic Four, the list goes on. Currently, he’s working on Carnage for Marvel and the Legends of Tomorrow anthology at DC, so we take the opportunity to talk to him about Firestorm, seeing characters he co-created on TV, trying to get into writing superhero TV shows, a never-made X-Men movie script he co-wrote with Roy Thomas, writing Amazing Spider-Man at the tender age of 19, and so much more! Plus, we add some characters to the Panel President list!

  1. really great & interesting episode!!
    gerry conway has literally spent his LIFE in comics – very bizarre to think about. it was fun to hear such a different perspective than most WRA guests – i mean the guy comes from a a whole nother generation & an entirely different comics culture. i grew up with superheroes on the big screen – it really hit home when he talked about being unable to imagine it ever being a reality.
    ASTRO CITY always seemed too long boxy for me, but matt & chris always get me curious about it.
    cannot wait for the WRESTLEMANIA talk … & #300 is sure to be legendary!!
