It finally happened. We breached the 2 hour mark. For those who hate how long our episodes are, maybe you can blame writer Chris Roberson for being too interesting, as he talks about Cinderella: From Fabletown with Love and his upcoming title I, Zombie. Or, you can blame Dr. K, since he stops by to talk about his trip with Sims to the infamous South of the Border. Or maybe, just maybe…you can blame the REGGAETON AIR HORN. Either way, it’s an episode of international intrigue and racist tourist traps. And really, how can you shortchange any of that?
The Rundown:
For more information about Chris and all his works, check out his website. Check out his stuff on Amazon.
Please check out MonkeyBrain books, and kudos to Chris and Allison for publishing former guest Jess Nevins’ great books.
We’ll be recording our next episode Friday the 13th, tonight, with Chris Roberson, writer of Cinderella: From Fabletown with Love, as well as other titles for the Clockwork Storybook Collective and MonkeyBrain Books, of which he is also the publisher and co-owner. Send your questions via email and twitter, and stay tuned for the episode to post next Monday!
The War Rocket Ajax crew is going to have an episode where we read YOUR emails! So email the show at warrocketpodcast_@_gmail.com and ask us anything you can think of, whether it’s related to comics or not. We’ll read them on the air and answer them with some special guests!
Guest announcements coming up soon. It’s been a busy week, I’m still trying to get organized.
In our most jam-packed episode yet, four writers from Toyfare Magazine’s Twisted Toyfare Theatre series stop by to chat about the creative process, and GI Joe. Justin Aclin, Rob Bricken, TJ Dietsch, and Jon Guitierez all join in on the fun. Also, it’s our obligatory Dark Reign tie-in episode, as a special guest stops by to take over third chair duties in the name of H.A.M.M.E.R.
The Rundown:
Please check out Toyfare magazine, as well as all the collected editions of Twisted Toyfare Theatre on Amazon. .
You can find out more information about Justin Aclin at AclinCorp, and please check out Hero House from Arcana Comics set for release later this month! Check it out on Amazon.

Our next episode records tonight with the staff of Twisted Toyfare Theatre, the hilarious toy comic that appears every month in Toyfare Magazine. It’ll be a packed house, so if you have questions about TTT, Toyfare Magazine, or…well, anything you can think of, tweet ’em or email ’em at us post haste!
The gang’s all here, as Rusty Shackles joins the whole show, including our interview with special guest James Lucas Jones, the editor-in-chief of Oni Press. He talks to us about his history with comics, hate mail to editors, and his feelings on the personality of Oni as a publishing house. Also, apparently the crew decided to get drunk for every other segment completely independently of each other.
The Rundown:
Please visit Oni Press‘s website to find out everything you’d ever want to know about them. Purchase their books through our sidebar, or on Amazon.
Also, while you’re at it, check out the website of Jamie S. Rich, who actually happens to be my favorite movie critic over at DVDTalk.com.
Hey guys, Happy Halloween from Rusty, Sims, and me, the War Rocket Ajax crew! Handin’ out only the full size candy bars at this house, kids.
We’re recording Episode 11 tonight with the inimitable James Lucas Jones, editor of Oni Press. We’ll be in costumes while we record. I promise. One word for what Chris is coming as: Psylocke. Yeah, let that haunt your nightmares.

SPOOOOOOKYYYYY. Get in the Halloween spirit with our guest Matt Sturges, as he talks about Blue Beetle, House of Mystery, and zombie princesses. Then, Evie and Aaron from Awesomed By Comics stop by, as Chris and Aaron engage in a Castlevania Trivia Contest to determine once and for all, how much does Simon’s Quest really suck?
