  1. MATT! As a (very…) recently married person I gotta tell you that marriage is very, very cool. Congratulations, man!

  2. if Anti-Life gives you total control over another being, then Superman has only one option. He will choose a path that’s clear, he will choose “freewill” by Rush.

  3. started listenin’ with this one, you guys make for an interesting metro ride to work! keep it up!

  4. There are many pro-wrestlers who are actually hilarious in the stand up comedy realm. Mick Foley, Colt Cabana and King Kong Bundy are about it.
I attended an Iron Shiek ‘stand up’ appearance and it was sadder than you can imagine.
I did miss out on the Roddy Piper/New Jack double header in Atlanta this past April.

  5. Congrats on become the official Podcast of Comics Alliance. You bith are one step closer to world domination. That or one step closer to a Grant Morrison interview. Thank for answering my question.

  6. I couldn’t agree more on Hush and Long Halloween. But I actually think Dark Victory is actually notably better than them, and while I can’t blame people for lumping it together with the rest of awful Loeb stories, I don’t think it deserves the flak. For one thing, there AREN’T as many crazy false leads, the misdirection surrounding the actual killer is sensible and actually telegraphed and yet it STILL caught a lot of people off guard (to which I think we should be ashamed), and there is actually a real, logical, solid answer to the mystery that makes sense and is not the least bit confusing.

Also, Dark Victory kind of acknowledges that the mystery is secondary to the real story going on: an all-out gang war between the freaks and the mob. Which is just exciting and fantastic. I don’t think I’ve ever read a story that has made Two-Face such a badass while staying consistent with his character. It’s a better Two-Face than the sissy one we saw in The Dark Knight.

  7. Hey, thanks for the mention! The guy that ordered the Colt and Wild Dog has actually ordered about 15 dolls from me, so that makes it slightly less coincidental. Thanks again!
