Sometimes, It Rains – No Ajax this Week

So, a severe thunderstorm struck the DC area on Thursday, when we were supposed to record our next episode of Ajax with ComicsAlliance Assistant Editor, Caleb Goellner. It knocked out the power and internet for much of the region, including most of the trees and power lines, and in some cases, small buildings and cars. The next day, Sims was out of town through the weekend.

So no Ajax this Monday. But check back on August 16, when our guest will be Paul Tobin! And hopefully, Caleb will join us soon as well.

So no Ajax this week. Blame god.

We’re back! I know we said Rick Remender would be our guest, but due to some last minute complications, we had to reschedule him (to next week!). So Chris & Euge get to sit with the lovely and talented Ming Doyle, artist of The Loneliest Astronauts and whose work you’ve also seen in Marvel’s Girl Comics anthology. It’s an episode about HeroesCon, dream romance, and lovely skies as the crew is back again with the incredible, and all that goodness.

Next Guest! Remender Pulls the Hat Trick! Ming Doyle!

Hey look! Reports of our demise were greatly exaggerated!  HeroesCon and the release of my single took an unexpected toll on our schedules (read: our motivation to make a schedule), but we finally got our ducks in a row and ONCE AGAIN IT’S ON.

Our first THREE-TIME GUEST, Rick Remender, is going to come on the show and talk to us about the new FEAR AGENT volume, as well as Frankencastle and probably more inappropriate fart stories.

Also, Ming Doyle of The Loneliest Astronauts fame will sit in as third chair for the rest of the episode! Ming has a pretty bitching sketchbook for sale, that all of you people should get at this link.

We’ll be recording on June 16 starting the party around 9PM EST. So the next episode will be up June 21. Yeah yeah, that’s like, far in the future. But we promise, we’re back on our regular schedule for the foreseeable….hey what’s that shiny thing over there?
